Arts awards

Please note:  The scheme is currently closed for applications and will re-open in September 2012.

Are you able to demonstrate a high level of commitment, skill and achievement in your chosen art in the last twelve months? If the answer is yes then you may be able to apply for a young achievers arts award.

To be able to apply for an award you must:

• live within South Oxfordshire District Council's area
• be aged between 11 and 18 (at the closing date)
• be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment and skill in your chosen art form
• be able to send in certificates or proof of your achievements
• be able to send in two references from a tutor, teacher or relevant arts governing body (not a relative or friend) to confirm your level of achievement.  (This needs to give details of your achievements and qualifications as well as any performances or events you have attended along with the dates)
• be able to tell us your aims/ambitions for the future
• be able to send a recent photograph of you performing.
