You can now get help to save up to £300 every year on your energy bills, thanks to a new energy saving package announced by the government and energy companies. Pensioners or those from low income households may also be eligible for free improvements to their homes , such as insulation, along with other support.

Get warmer this winter with Warm Front
Warm Front makes homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient. The Warm Front Grant provides a package of insulation and heating improvements up to the value of £3,500 (or £6,000 if oil central heating is recommended). It is a Government-funded initiative. Freephone 0800 316 2805

Cavity wall insulation
One of the biggest energy savers, cavity wall insulation, is very likely to cost nothing
if you are 70 or over. Energy Saving Trust
