Community-led planning

Information on community-led planning

A community-led plan is a plan for the local community, developed by the local community. It can:

  • help to shape a future that the community wants to see
  • influence decision making bodies to work with the community to take positive actions
  • help to bring groups and individuals in communities together to work towards a common goal

The South Oxfordshire Partnership (SOP) has produced a guide to tell you about the help and support available for community led planning groups in South Oxfordshire.  It compliments Oxfordshire Rural Community Council-s community-led planning toolkit and other guidance on community consultation.

If you are interested in developing a plan for your community, please contact Anton Nath at Oxfordshire Rural Community Council ORCC This link will take you to an external website... or visit the new community led planning website.
