South Oxfordshire Employment Land Review

The Council commissioned consultants to undertake an Employment Land Review to form part of the evidence base for the Local Development Framework. 

The purpose of the review was to enable us to:

• make appropriate provision of land for employment generating development
• determine whether any employment land should be made available for housing or mixed use development in local development documents
• determine whether development control proposals which include the loss of employment land should be permitted
• provide an evidence base for the Local Development Framework and future monitoring of employment in the district
