Collection reminders
Sign up for text and/or email reminders for your waste collections over the bank holiday or during severe weather disruptions.
Text reminders
To sign up for a reminder, simply text the word waste and your normal collection day - so depending on your normal collection day, you should text the words:
waste monday, or waste tuesday, or waste wednesday, or waste thursday, or waste friday.

If you are not sure of your collection day or week check our collections page.
Please note, do not reply to these texts as they are automatically generated.
Change of details or stopping the service
If you need to change your registration details to a new collection day, simply re-register and it will overwrite your existing subscription day.
To stop using the service, text WASTE STOP to 07797 870370 and this will unsubscribe you. If you are unable to text this number, contact us at webmaster@southoxon.gov.uk and we'll remove your number.
Email reminders
Once you've entered your name, postcode and created a password, on the next screen select "Waste service" by ticking the box.
This will register you for future reminders for collection changes.

*Text messages sent to the council will be charged by the provider at a standard rate. Residents will not be charged for the reminder texts.
